Final focus system with superconducting magnets in the interaction region of the TESLA linear collider
Description
The TESLA final focus system is presented for a center of mass energy of 500 GeV. The effects of magnet misalignment and field errors are analyzed for this system using the recently available program FFADA. A design for the last doublet superconducting quadrupoles, based on the LHC quadrupoles, is proposed. Tolerances to higher multipole components in the last doublet have been analyzed as well as the effect of the detector solenoid. (authors). 5 figs., 1 tab., 6 refs
