Description

This paper concentrates on the application of path integral methods to derive semi-classical approximations to scattering problems. Scattering problems are usually formulated in terms of the scattering wave function. This satisfies the Schrodinger equation. The incident wave is parallel to the z-axis. Feynman's propagator gives the amplitude for a final position at time T when the initial momentum is rho/sub ο/. The authors relate this propagator to the scattering wave function
