Calculations of the form factors of some s-d shell nuclei in the theory of statistical spectroscopy

Description
The charge form factors of 24Mg, 27Al, 28Si, 32S and their energy variation are calculated using the theory of statistical spectroscopy. A qualitative agreement between calculation and experiment is achieved. The influence of the second-order polynomial is investigated. For the examples examined in this paper, its effect is small. This indicates that the convergence of the theory is good
