Collection of fusion fuel lunar helium 3 using microwave
- 1. Japan Atomic Energy Research Inst., Naka, Ibaraki (Japan). Naka Fusion Research Establishment
Description
The helium 3 gas has been inplanted in the regolith on the moon, which is available for radio-active free of nuclear fusion reactor in future. This report is describing a possibility of collecting the lunar helium 3 by micro wave heating and plugging. Data base of the collection of gas by microwave heating is based on the experimental results on the gas release during high power aging process in the radio frequency plasma heating in the terrestrial scale magnetic nuclear fusion.
