Thermodynamic properties of EuS and Eu3S4 in a wide temperature range

Description
EuS enthalpy is investigated in the 400-2100 K temperature range and that of Eu3S4 in the 400-1500 K temperature range. Enthalpy temperature dependences are obtained; the main thermodynamic functions of substances studied (heat capacity, entropy, reduced Gibb's energy) are calculated and tabulated on their basis. Intensive enthalpy growth is found for europium monosulfide above 1700 K
