Description
The Advanced Heavy Water Reactors (AHWR), have been envisaged to contribute significantly to the nuclear energy in the twenty first century using the fuel comprising of the solid solutions of thorium-uranium and thorium-plutonium in their oxide form. This paper presents the details of the microstructural and microchemical characterisation and the results obtained from this study
