Beyond conventional nuclear physics
Description
The quark cluster model is discussed in an attempt to understand nucleon-nucleon interactions and nuclear response functions on a sub-hadronic level. Sensitivities to the confinement mechanism and the quark exchange effect are studied in some detail. (orig.)
