Outline of safety research results in fiscal year 1995. Field of the nuclear fuel cycle

Safety Research Division, Safety Department of the Power Reactor and Nuclear Fuel Development Corporation has proceeded the safety researches in Heisei 3 to 7 fiscal years according to her safety research fundamental program (Heisei 3 to 7 fiscal years) prepared on March, 1991 (revised in 1994 fiscal year). This report contains the research results in Heisei 7 fiscal year, the last fiscal year of the 5 years program, accompanied with the general outlines of the safety research fundamental program on the fields of nuclear fuel cycle (such as all tasks in the field of nuclear fuel facility, in the field of environmental radiation, and in the field of waste processing, and some tasks related to the nuclear fuel facility out of the field of earthquake-resistant and probability theoretical safety evaluation). In this report, the following items are described; 1) Outline of the safety research fundamental program, 2) Aims and tasks in the safety research of the field of nuclear fuel cycle, 3) Lists of the safety research survey sheets at Heisei 7 fiscal year, and 4) The research survey sheets of the safety research results in Heisei 7 fiscal year.
