User manual of Quabox/Cubbox computer code
Description
The Quabox/Cubbox code solves the neutron diffusion equation in function of space and time, in two and three dimensions. The expansion method of neutron flux is based in the spatial flux of second, third and sixth ordem of local polynoms. Results with high acuraccy of flux spatial distribution are obtained even when a great smash is used. The integration of the equation is done using a steady technique of ADE-ADI matrix decomposition. O codigo Quabox/Cubbox resolve a equacao de difusao de neutrons dependente do espaco e do tempo, em coordenadas cartesianas em duas ou tres dimensoes. O metodo de expansao do fluxo de neutrons e baseadO na aproximacao espacial do fluxo por polinomios locais de 20, 30 ou 60 ordem. Resultados com alta precisao da distribuicao espacial do fluxo sao obtidos mesmo quando se usa uma malha grande. A integracao das equacoes dependentes do tempo e feita por uma tecnica estavel de decomposicao de matrizes ADE-ADI.
