Rigid bifunctional chelating agents
Description
Bicyclo[2.2.2]octane-2,3 diamine-N,N,N,Nprime-tetraacetic acids (BODTA) and bicyclo[2.2.1]heptane-2,3 diamine-N,N,Nprime,Nprime-tetraacetic acid (BHDTA) are chelating agents useful in forming detectably labeled bioconjugate compounds for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. New compounds and processes of forming BODTA and BHDTA are disclosed. Radioimmunoconjugates of the present invention show high and prolonged tumor uptake with low normal tissue uptakes
