Radiation situation in the Adrasman village

Description

The article describes the radiation situation in the territory of the Adrasman village. Radiation monitoring was carried out by dividing the area on several parts using the Pack Eye radiation detection kit. At the same time, some local points with an increased equivalent dose rate were detected. This is due to the use of tailing material for construction by the local population and the transfer of tailing material with water, which is subsequently used for irrigation of household plots by local population. It has been defined that at the destroyed border of the radioactive tailings dump 'Adrasman' the equivalent dose rate values reach 3.7 μSv/hour. Within the populated part of the Adrasman village, this indicator ranges from 0.20 to 0.30 μSv/hour. (author)
