Highlights: • This paper describes the recent development status of the Monte Carlo code MVP. • The basic features and capabilities of MVP are briefly described. • New capabilities useful for reactor analysis are also described. - Abstract: This paper describes the recent development status of a Monte Carlo code MVP developed at Japan Atomic Energy Agency.
