Anomalous QED magnetic moment at finite chemical potential

  • 1. Chalmers Univ. of Tech., Goeteborg (Sweden). Inst. of Theoretical Physics
  • 2. CERN, Geneva (Switzerland). Theory Division

Description

The authors calculate the anomalous magnetic moment of a massive Dirac fermion at non-zero temperature and chemical potential. It is found that this anomalous magnetic moment, due to the finite density in a metal, is comparable to the QED vacuum correction. (author). 32 refs.; 1 fig
