New description of hypercharge-exchange reactions in the quasi-eikonal model
Description
The quasi-eikonal model is applied to hypercharge-exchange reactions. The obtained theoretical predictions for observables are in a reasonable agreement with the available experimental data in the energy interval from 5 up to 140 GeV and for t approximately 0-1.4 (GeV/c)2. The performed analysis of all the experimental data and the model predictions indicate an effect of a weak exchange degeneracy fop the ''strange'' trajectories, K* and K**, for high energies
