Green synthesis and characterization of copper nanoparticles using Azadirachta indica leaves

  • 1. Department of Chemistry, Janki Devi Bajaj Government Girls College, Kota, Rajasthan, 324001 (India)

Description

Highlights: • Develop a novel, simple and greaner method for CuNPs synthesis by A. indica leaves. • Effects of different reaction parameters on the formation of CuNPs were analyzed. • Synthesized CuNPs are cubical and 48 nm size with high zeta potential (−17.5 mV). • Biomolecules present in Neem leaves reduce Cu2+ ions and also stabilize NPs.
