The influence of sample rotation on the proton Zeeman relaxation behaviour of classically reorienting or tunnelling methyl groups

  • 1. Technische Hogeschool Delft (Netherlands). Dept. of Applied Physics

Description

For the case the Zeeman relaxation is caused by classically reorienting or tunnelling methyl groups it is investigated how fast a sample has to be rotated to decouple Zeeman- and rotational polarization system completely. It is found that rotating a sample with an angular velocity of 3 times the auto-Zeeman relaxation rate is sufficient to perform this. (orig.)
