Description
A preliminary evaluation of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC's) Standard Review Plan (SRP) was conducted with the goal of identifying areas that might need revision if the SRP is used for relicensing/license renewal. The SRP is presently used to guide NRC staff reviewers in assessing safety analysis reports submitted by applicants for construction permits and operating licenses for nuclear power plants. The paper summarizes the findings and recommendations based on the evaluation
