Reconstruction of the radial profiles of the plasma emission intensity in the L-2 stellarator

  • 1. P. N. Lebedev Physics Institute, Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Moscow

Description

A method is described for reconstructing the radial profiles of the emission intensity. The method is based on the approximation of elliptical contour lines in the plasma. The displacement of the ellipses in a fan-shaped observation arrangement is taken into account. The method has been used to study the plasma in the L-2 stellarator. The change in the inclination of the elliptical contour lines in the stellarator with displacement along the major circumference influences the reconstruction procedure
