Description

Neutron spectrometry and dosimetry involving Li (p, n) reactions are crucial as it's the pathway for generating quasi-monoenergetic epithermal neutrons around the Coulomb barrier (1H energy ~1.8¬3 MeV) and a source of high energy calibration neutrons. Quite a few studies were reported with measurement of the excitation function and cross-sections with this system but neutron yield and spectrum measurements are rare in the intermediate 1H energies between 3-25 MeV. In the present study, the neutron yields were reported at 12 and 16 MeV 1Hs
