Plant for decanting strongly radioactive resins in waste containers
Description
An improvement is proposed for plants for decanting strongly radio-active resins, which occur in nuclear power plants, which should have the effects of increasing the leak-tightness, of reducing the water consumption, and of making the equipment more economical as it has no moving parts which can wear. The plant consists of a supply container, an intermediate storage container, and a waste barrel, which are all connected by a pipework system in which the resin is transported at sub-pressure. Details of the technical construction are described. (UWI)

Es wird eine Verbesserung an einer Anlage zum Abfuellen stark radioaktiver Harze, die bei Kernegergieanlagen anfallen, vorgeschlagen, die bewirken soll, dass die Lecksicherheit groesser wird, der Wasserverbrauch sinkt und die Anlage wirtschaftlicher ist, da sie keine beweglichen Teile besitzt, die leicht verschleissen. Die Anlage besteht aus einem Anlieferbehaelter, Zwischenbehaelter und dem Abfallfass, die alle durch ein Rohrsystem, in welchem der Harztransport durch Unterdruck erfolgt, verbunden sind.
