Description

Metal-containing (Fe, Co, Ni, Cu and Pd) nanoparticles have been synthesized and immobilized on the surface of polytetrafluoroethylene nanogranules 150-500 nm in size. X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray emission, Moessbauer spectroscopy and EXAFS results demonstrate that the nanoparticles (3.5-6.5 nm) have a complex structure, are isolated from one another and are strongly bonded to the surface of the nanogranules
