Soil sample analysis with wide energy HPGe γ spectrometer

Description
The activities of 226Ra, 232Th, 40K, 238U in soil sample were measured by wide energy HPGe gamma-ray spectrometer, the source-free efficiency calibration method and relative measurement method were presented. The results show that the analysis date of the two methods is consistent. On no standard volume source or on-site measurement condition, the source-free efficiency calibration method is a ideal choice for system efficiency calibration. (authors)
