Description

A method is proposed that makes it possible to calculate subdomains of the simulated system with an individual time step depending on the intensity of the ongoing process, which makes it possible to reduce the number of calculations when simulating complex and multi-scale gas dynamic systems. The modification is based on the Kuropatenko method for non-orthogonal Euler grids. The results of work on the implementation of this algorithm are presented, as well as a comparison with the classical approach

Abstract (Russian)

Предложен метод, позволяющий рассчитывать подобласти моделируемой системы с индивидуальным временным шагом, зависящим от интенсивности протекающего процесса, что позволяет уменьшить количество вычислений при моделировании сложных и разномасштабных газодинамических систем. Модификация основана на методе Куропатенко для неортогональных эйлеровых сеток. Представлены результаты работ по реализации данного алгоритма, а также сравнение с классическим подходом
