Description
The diluent effect on the extraction properties of diphenyl(dibutylcarbamoylmethylene)phosphine oxide was described by mathematical models. The correlation coefficient between the calculated and empirical values was 0.96. It is suggested that a water molecule dissolved in the organic phase reacts with the H atoms of the bridging methylene. The extraction of Am and Eu was studied
