Superconductivity in Pb09Bi01

Description

We present results of strong coupling calculations of the superconducting properties of the alloy Pb0.9Bi0.1. The kernels in the Eliashberg equations are taken from quasiparticle-tunneling data which has been inverted by Dynes according to the method of McMillan and Rowell. The finite-temperature gap equations are solved by successive iteration to obtain solutions at several temperatures. The solutions are then employed to calculate select thermodynamic properties of Pb0.9Bi0.1.
