The interplanetary plasma and the heliosphere

A brief summary of highlights and problems during the last three years concerning the origin and physical processes in the solar wind are presented. Research highlights and problems in large scale solar wind structure are described under the topics of radial and meridional gradients, high speed streams and coronal holes, the IMF geometry, propagating disturbances and other topics.
