Nuclear reactor plant

The invention deals with a nuclear reactor plant with a pressurized-water reactor in a safety containment. A steam line comes from the latter penetrating the containment, designed with a closure valve, where two exhaust lines branch off before the closure valve, the first having an excess pressure valve and the second a series connection of two valves. The invention deals with the possibility, starting from the known system, that a safety valve after response does not close and thus negatively reacts on the steam generator. The protection of nuclear reactor plant against excess pressures, of course, must not be affected. According to the invention, the one valve of the series connection is a further excess pressure valve with a lower minimum response pressure than the first excess pressure valve. (orig.)
