Description

A general review is presented of current theory concerning the origins and physical characteristics of black holes. Consideration is given to several observed characteristics of the universe which may be explained by the black hole model, including the disproportionate ratio of stellar luminosities to stellar velocities at the center of the Galaxy, active galaxies, quasars, and radio galaxies. A number of equations are given in order to illustrate the discussion analytically and some solutions are discussed in detail
