Determination of 200Pb, 204Po, 208Rn, 212Ra, and 216Th atomic masses by the 204Pb(α,8He)200Pb

Description
The atomic mass excesses of 200Pb, 204Po, 208Rn, 212Ra, and 216Th were determined to be -26.262±0.015, -18.352±0.015, -9.667±0.015, -0.208±0.015, and 10.287±0.017 MeV, respectively. They were obtained from the measured Q value of -28.043±0.013 MeV for the 204Pb(α,8He)200Pb (g.s.) reaction and the known alpha-decay Q values. The results were compared with some predicted values
