Description
Highlights: • Adsorption of elements can stabilize the planes by lowering the surface energies. • The lowest surface energy of NiS2(1 0 0) was achieved at the moderate Mo coverage. • NiS2 nanocubes with {1 0 0} facets were synthesized with Na2MoO4 as a mineralizer.
