Effect of preliminary plastic deformation on the anodic behaviour of molybdenum-rhenium alloys

  • 1. Ufimskij Aviatsionnyj Inst. (USSR)

Description

Two molybdenum-rhenium alloys obtained by vacuum melting: 20 and 40% of rhenium are studied. Sealed alloys were heated up to 1250±20 deg and subjected to forging for different degrees of deformation (10, 20, 30, 40%). It is shown that increase of the rate of molybdenum-rhenium alloy anodic dissolution with the deformation degree up to 10% may be considered a rule
