Description

The flow of chemically reacting mixtures in channels of variable sections is characterized by additional nonlinear dependences between the flow parameters and rates of chemical processes. A turbine is presented as a set of successively connected channels. Theoretical parameters of the flow in a channel are determined by a numerical solution of the system of equations of conservation, state and chemical kinetics. The accuracy of the solution is controlled by checking the stagnation enthalpy. The calculation of nozzle and operating channels is performed according to the absolute and relative rate correspondingly. The losses are introduced in the end of a channel following theoretic or semiempiric dependences. Densities over the components are determined from stoichiometric relations. Parameters at the previous channel outlet are taken as the initial data to calculate the next. The arrangement of channels in series results in natural accumulation of error and therefore requires very accurate calculation within spacing. The proposed procedure of calculation has been checked on the test double-stage axial-flow turbine. A satisfactory convergence between computation an experimental data has been obtained
