Transition energies in Ne-like ions. Correlation effects

Description

The transitions from 2s-1 and 2p-13l states into the 1s2-2s22p6 in Ne-like ions are considered. The measured and calculated energy values are given for Ag37+ and Xe44+. The correlation correction to the energies of 3l levels of Ne-like ions is estimated. It is shown that this correction determines the greater part of calculation error by the method of multiconfiguration system of Dirac-Fock equations
