Mechanical properties of polycrystalline neodymium from 78 to 600 K

Description
The flow-stress temperature dependence, strain-rate sensitivty, strain-hardening exponent and ductility of neodymium were determined from 78 to 600 K at strain rates of 0.005, 0.01, 0.1 and 1.0 min-1. The results are presented, and comparisons of the properties pf neodymium with those of some rare-earth metals and other h.c.p. materials are discussed. (Auth.)
