Description
Characteristics of hot spots were compared among normal and reversed discharges in the divergent gas-puff z pinch. By the measurement using CCD, a small spotted hot spot was observed. The size of the hot spot was evaluated, and a smaller hot spot was observed in the reversed discharge. (author)
