Resistivity and magnetoresistance studies on superconducting A15 V3Ga, V3Au, and V3Pt compounds

Description
Resistivity and magnetoresistance measurement have been made on A15 V3X (X = Ga, Au, and Pt) compounds. The low-temperature resistivity rho(T) (T/sub c/<T<40 K) of V3Ga and V3Au shows a T2 dependence whereas that of V3Pt exhibits a T3 dependence. The magnetoresistance of V3Ga and V3Pt varies as H/sup 1.6/ and that of V3Au shows a linear field dependence. These results are analyzed in terms of existing theories
