Microcraters on targets exposed in the near-Earth orbit

Description

Investigation results for microcraters formed in the open space on targets made of different materials, that is, glass with titanium sputtering, copper and aluminium are presented. Morphological description of craters chemical composition of targets and crater morphological elements are given. Value of crater distribution density in accordance to sizes on different targets is obtained, value of flow of particles which bombarded targets surfaces is evaluated. 4 refs.; 3 figs.; 4 tabs
