Dosimetry: Development and experience in Chile
Description
A general view of the stage of development reached in the measurement of absorbed doses for various high dose irradiation processes performed in Chile is presented. A brief description is given of the available irradiation facilities and the dosimetric systems used in experimental, pilot and industrial scale applications. Some dosimetric control work carried out in the different irradiation facilities and the Chilean Nuclear Energy Commission's participation in the IAEA's International Dose Assurance Service (IDAS) project are described.
