Developed methodology for geological control of the secondary uranium concentrations at Osamu Utsumi Mine
Description
It is presented a methodology to localize correctly and specify the quality of diverses secondary uranium concentrations facies. To support the mining operations, maps (vertical and horizontal sections and diagram blocks) were elaborated. Theoretical and pratical studies of the genesis and lithological and structural characteristics of the ore deposit done to improve the prospecting works on the Pocos de Caldas Plateau. (Author)

Apresenta-se uma metodologia para localizar corretamente e especificar a qualidade de diversas concentracoes de uranio secundario. Em apoio as operacoes de mineracao foram elaborados mapas (secoes verticais e horizontais e diagramas de blocos. Estudos teoricos e praticos foram feitos sobre a genesis e as caracteristicas litologicas e estruturais dos depositos minerais para melhorar as condicoes do trabalho de prospeccao no Planalto de Pocos de Caldas.
