Description
At the Slovak Electric plc, a range of technologies is used for the processing of radioactive waste into a form suitable for disposal. These technologies operated by a subsidiary of Slovak Electric SE VYZ Jaslovske Bohunice are described. Main accent is given on the Bohunice Radwaste Treatment and Conditioning Centre, Bituminization plant and Vitrification plant. Conclusion to the safe and effective management of radioactive waste and Spent Fuel in the Slovak Republic are presented. (author)
