Fourier analysis of high order coherent and incoherent resonances in beam-beam interaction. 1

  • 1. Cornell Univ., Ithaca, NY (United States). Newman Lab. of Nuclear Studies

Description

In this paper we describe how to find the approximate differential equation for particle movement using the information based on the spectroscopy of beam-beam interaction. Such an equation, different for different beam parameters, can be used, in particular, for the calculation of the beam 'incoherent' lifetime. This general program has not yet been implemented.
