The K ππ system in the reaction K-p → K-π+π-p at 63 GeV/c

Description
A sample of 190,567 diffractive events of type K-p→K-π+π-p at 63 GeV/c have been taken by the ACCMOR collaboration with the spectrometer of experiment WA3 at CERN, Geneva. The selection of the events from 1,597,849 triggers is described with particular attention paid to the event identification. The clean sample is studied using a partial wave analysis, and the resulting amplitudes interpreted with Kππ resonance and Deck background model fits. (author)
