Description
At the accelerator installation there are many situations where people could be potentionaly exposed to ionizing radiation. Potential exposure of individuals generates direct requirements to reliability of radiation protection system and could influence the environment. Starting from technical characteristics of TESLA Accelerator Installation Tesla (TAI) and international recommendation concerning potential exposure, the probability of death has been calculated and the reference risk has been specified. At that basis the probability of the failure of the protective system has been calculated. (author)
