Present status of PD for nuclear facilities
Description
Japanese Performance Demonstration for the qualification of ultrasonic test personnel and procedures applicable for austenitic stainless steel pipe butt-weld crack depth measurement (NDIS0603: 2005) was set up in May 2005, which is under review as a regulatory standard. Background and present status of performance demonstration for nuclear facilities is presented with overseas trend of the PD. (T. Tanaka)
