Description
We solve, to all perturbative orders, the discretized representation of the one dimensional supersymmetric string, in terms of matrix variables on a circle of radius R. The compactified perturbative expansion does not possess duality symmetry, in contrast with the bosonic theory. Duality transformations map the exact solution for the supersymmetric string into the solution of the bosonic string in the R = ∞ case. (orig.)
