Irregular postoperative irradiation in combined treatment of lung cancer

Description

Results of combined surgical and radiation treatment of lung cancer are presented. It is shown that postoperation radiation therapy produces the positive effect on clinical course and results of treatment (in the near 3-4 years) during combined treatment of lung cancer. The technique for postope, ration gamma therapy, which doesn't cause substantial radiation reactions and injuries both during treatment, and fUrther observation is suggested. Postoperation radiation therapy promotes the decrease of local relapse development and prolongs the relapseless disease period
