Spoutability and spout destabilization of fine particles with a gas
Creators
- 1. Dept. of Chemical Engineering, The Univ. of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC
Description
A criterion for the cold gas spoutability of fine particles is developed and flow regimes are mapped. The criterion applies also to coarse particles. Termination of stable gas spouting for fine particles is shown to occur due to choking of the spout
