Description

Alkali silicate glasses have been irradiated by using Ar ions at energy of and above 200 keV. The target temperature was varied in the range between liquid nitrogen temperature and 2000C. The observed modifications in alkali depth distribution, determined by nuclear techniques, have been analyzed on the basis of phenomenological models. 12 refs., 3 figs
