Analysis of atmospheric dispersion characteristics considering building effects of a nuclear facility
Description
In this study statistical analysis was performed to determine the effect of wind speed class to atmospheric dispersion factors using the measurement data from Ulsan meteorological center. ISC model and PRIME model inputted hourly averaged meteorological data were used to assess the effects of building geometry to atmospheric dispersion factors. To assess conservatism for atmospheric dispersion factors at a nuclear facility, analytical solutions of Gaussian plume model were compared with numerical solutions of k-ω model and advection-diffusion model
