Changes in the chemical structure and the mechanical properties of single-site polyethylene induced by ion-beam irradiation
Description
The changes in the chemical structure and the mechanical properties of single-site polyethylene induced by ion-beam irradiation were investigated. The crystallinity of single-site polyethylene is very low, so the chemical structure and the mechanical properties are different from low density polyethylene. The LET effect of single-site polyethylene is more conspicuous than in low density polyethylene
